Because RFID-tags are available
in a large number of housings, it can be used very flexibly in production control and assembling-line control.
So RFID-tags can identify, value and monitor a singe production process instead of a process card.
At corresponding control points can be checked, in which production step the product takes place in the moment.
Modification wishes, which are belated, can be written on the transponder while passing a control unit.
They can be carried out in the next steps automatically.
For quality assurance unambiguous identification marks could be written on the transponder after every production step.
So sources of trouble can be detected afterwards in parallel production lines.
An interesting feature for quality control is the marking of important elements with transponders to identify
them in the finished product where there are not visible (for example: side air bags in cars door paneling).
Another field for transponder technique is the production control and material supervision.
The production can be done fully automatic, because all data can be checked during the conveyance.
